The summer heat protection by KaWaTech serves to limit the heating of flat roofs, tanks (containers) etc. caused by solar radiation and thus the passage of heat. As the temperature increases, the wavelength spectrum expands towards the shorter wavelengths and also includes the visible range. This results in a spectral distribution of the wavelengths. Infrared radiation (heat radiation) heats up the absorbing body much more than visible light can. With the KaWaTech product, a UV reduction of 99.8% and an IR reduction of 89.0% are achieved. This means a temperature reduction in the interior of the coated flat roofs, tanks (containers) etc. of up to 20°C.
