The protection of building surfaces and outdoor facilities represents a significant proportion of the costs in the preservation of building fabric and cultural assets.
Conservation (from the Latin conservare - "keep, preserve") is the preservation of objects for a long time.
KaWaTech® is a film-forming coating for the temporary protection of building surfaces that has improved weathering stability and peelability. The developed product is a film-forming paint, which is applied to the cleaned building surfaces.
The substrate must be dry (no moisture in or on the surface to be coated).
The coating is applied with a thickness of 0.4 mm. A continuous film is created from the rolled up or sprayed areas, which protects the treated building surface from water penetration (resistance to frost and de-icing salt), environmental influences and dirt and contains UV protection due to solar radiation.
